Hello, I am Presley Arnold. I am a History MA candidate at the University of Colorado, Denver, interested in twentieth-century U.S. women’s movements, rights, and organizations. This website is structured around my personal history blog, Insert Name. “Name of blog” features my own primary and secondary research, posts, thoughts, and articles regarding women’s history events and issues. I am specifically interested in how other social factors and categorizations shape women’s movements and the female experience in America. I explore women’s history topics including: motherhood, racial and ethnic identity, sexuality, sexual abuse, gender identity, consumer trends, education, domestic violence, financial freedom, and more.
I aim to expand on my historical analysis, historiography, and rhetoric skills while learning more about women’s history. My future career goals include: becoming a published historian, obtaining lecturing and teaching experience, working inside or alongside a museum in historic preservation and education, and writing a historical book.
